Biography
I received a PhD in Statistics from the University of Auckland. In 2006, I joined the Statistics and Operations Research group as a lecturer.
My main research interest is application of profile likelihood estimation in semi-parametric models.
Applications include
- Response selective sampling,
- Mixture models,
- Cox regression model and its extension
Research Projects
- Reparametrization of profile likelihood in semi-parametric multi-sample models (jointly with Prof. Alan Lee)
- Semi-parametric estimation in case-control study of gene-environment association with disease (jointly with A/Prof. Bhramar Mukherjee)
- Profile likelihood approach to the estimation in semi-parametric mixture models (jointly with Dr. Nokuthaba Sibanda , Funded by summer research scholarship)
