Assessment: Weekly assignments (10%), mid-term test (30%), final exam (60%). The exam may count for 100% if this is to the student’s advantage.
Textbook: No required textbook. The course notes will be self-contained.
Prescription: An introduction to mathematical logic, proofs, sets and relations; basic number theory and polynomials; graphs, trees and networks.
